MADAMICELLA, ensemble féminin de Polyphonies Corses est né en 2014 sous l'impulsion de Nadine Rossello qui souhaitait former un groupe de polyphonies corses féminines a capella professionnel sur le continent. Grâce l’aide à la Création de la Région Occitanie, ce projet voit le jour en Trio dans un premier programme "Donne" (Femmes) qui mêle Polyphonies profanes traditionnelles et sacrées.
Le groupe passe rapidement du Trio au Quartet dans une nouvelle distribution, toujours sous la direction artistique de Nadine qui anime également stages, dégustations ou Master-class de Polyphonies Corses autour des concerts. MADAMICELLA enchaîne les concerts pour divers festivals en France et à l’étranger et travaille intensément pour élargir son répertoire jusqu'à l'enregistrement d'un premier album en 2017 avec le programme "Da qui un cantu" (celle qui chante), témoignage des 3 premières années d’existence de l’ensemble.
MADAMICELLA, a female Corsican polyphony ensemble, was born in 2014 under the impulse of Nadine Rossello who wanted to form a professional female Corsican a capella polyphony group on the continent. With the help of the Occitanie Region, this project was born as a Trio in a first programme "Donne" (Women) which mixes traditional secular and sacred polyphonies.
The group quickly moved from a Trio to a Quartet with a new cast, always under the artistic direction of Nadine who also runs courses, tastings or Master classes in Corsican Polyphonies around the concerts. MADAMICELLA performs in various festivals in France and abroad and works intensively to expand its repertoire until the recording of a first album in 2017 with the program "Da qui un cantu" (the one who sings), testimony of the first 3 years of existence of the group.
En 2019, « Santa », nouveau programme inédit composé exclusivement de chants sacrés interprétés par des femmes nait grâce aux soutiens financiers de la DRAC et de la Région OCCITANIE, de la SPEDIDAM, l’ADDA 81 et du Crédit Agricole.
